	Bodmin College Jazz Orchestra
	Breaking news - Congratulations, the Jazz Orchestra have been selected to perform at the Music for Youth Festival in Birmingham on the 8th of July! The Bodmin College Jazz Orchestra are an eclectic bunch of talented young musicians under the tutelage of Mr Vincent who play a range of music in a big band jazz style; from Ellington, to the Beatles, to Santana. All the members of the Jazz Orchestra are students at the College and their high standard of musicianship is recognised both within Cornwall and across the UK. They have regularly toured abroad to Germany, France and Spain and have travelled further afield, being one of the first state schools in the UK to play in Australia. Within the past year, the Jazz Orchestra have played in New York as part of the Manhatten Jazz Festival and at Central Park. The Jazz Orchestra are available to play at functions; fetes, wedding parties, fund raising events, formal concerts, open days.
